Happy November!

Can you believe it's already November 1st?? Honestly, it feels like the school year just started and here I am gearing up to do my first set of report cards! I don't quite know what happened to September and October, but since the calendar says November it is time to get busy on your holiday cards and crafty gifts. To help you with that Stampin' Up has a new promotion! A brand new, totally on-trend, set of framelits are being released early. They'll be in next year's Annual Catalogue, but you can get your hands on them NOW! They are called Stitched Shapes and they're AWESOME! The set includes 12 dies: four different sizes of circles, ovals and squares that all add a delicate stitched border to the die-cut shape all for just $40.00 CAD. Check out this quick video to see them in action:

In addition to these awesome new products, some current coordinating stamp sets are on sale this month! Check these out:

Now, to get you thinking about making Christmas cards, here is a fun card I designed for a recent event...

I used the Be Jolly, By Golly stamp set for this one, allowing my sentiment to double as the focal image. I heat embossed it in silver to make it pop. The DSP is from the Presents and Pinecones pack...love the colour combo of Emerald Envy, Mint Macaron and Cherry Cobbler for Christmas...very fresh with a touch of retro. In fact, this project has a bit of a vintage vibe for me. I used the Sparkle TIEF to emboss th background panel and added a silver metallic doily, some Cherry Cobbler 3/8" silky taffeta ribbon and some silver metallic enamel stars.

On the inside I added a Whisper White panel to the Cherry Cobbler card base and stamped the sparkle image in Mint Macaron and the sentiment in Emerald Envy. Both images are also from the Be Jolly, By Golly stamp set.

Have a terrific Tuesday...don't forget to check out the sale and the fabulous new framelits available starting today!
